H-Hook

9mm pony beads (120)

3 oz. Finger wt yarn

Yarn needle

Notes: String on the pony beads before beginning. Add beads to rounds 10,14,20,27,41. Add beads skipping every other chain space. Mark each beginning space for all rounds with stitch marker of some kind.

Poncho:

Ch 80, join to form a ring. Be careful not to twist chain.

Rnd 1: ch 1, sc across, join

Rnd 2: repeat Rnd 1

Rnd 3: (ch3, sc in next st), around. Join

Rnds 4-15: (ch3, sc in next ch3 space), around. Join

Rnd 16: (ch 5, sc in next ch 3 space), around. Join

Rnds 17- 45: (ch 5, sc in next ch 5 space), around. Join Finish off at end of Rnd 45. Weave in ends.

Fringe:

Make 15, 3” tassels, by wrapping around cardboard 3 times. (Add fringe skipping every 2 ch5 spaces), around. Add pony bead to top, make a knot to secure bead.
